There’s truly no better way to celebrate the launch of the Zaya Artistry blog than with a shoot that means so much to my heart. As a creator in Metro-Detroit, Michigan, I get to capture milestones, memories, and moments that document life and keep love alive—and this session with my daughter, her boyfriend, and their closest friends was the perfect reminder of why I love capturing memories.
Her boyfriend plays hockey out of state, and her dear friend is dating one of his teammates. Life was about to take them all in different directions, so before the goodbyes, they wanted something special: photos to hold each other close, even when miles apart.
We laughed, played, and created images that show the beauty of friendship, young love, and the in-between moments that often become the ones we cherish most. For me, these photos mark more than just a shoot—they represent the expansion of this creative chapter where I’ll be sharing stories, galleries, and behind-the-scenes glimpses into the artistry that fuels me.
